These terms explain the current rules for using CodeIt accounts, lessons, project tools, AI-assisted results, and public sharing.

Accounts and ages

Independent student accounts are for ages 13–18. Younger learners aged 5–12 need parent-managed access, created after the adult account email is confirmed.

Sharing responsibly

Public projects must not include private or harmful information. AI-assisted results are a starting point that the learner is expected to review and change.

Saved projects stay private until their owner chooses Publish, and managed profiles for ages 5–12 cannot publish at all.

Paid features

A paid family plan is available at CA$12/month, cancellable at any time, with tax shown before card details are entered. The free plan does not expire and needs no card, and no subscription starts on its own — one begins only when someone chooses to start it.
