Clear information about what CodeIt collects—and why.

CodeIt collects information needed to run accounts, save learning progress, and build projects. It does not sell personal information or run behavioural advertising.

Payments

Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe's own form and never reach CodeIt. What CodeIt stores is Stripe's identifiers for the customer and subscription, the plan status and the renewal date.

Only an adult account can subscribe. A managed learner profile, or an account whose date of birth indicates the holder is under 18, cannot start a subscription and is never asked for payment details.

Projects and publishing

Saved projects are private until their owner chooses Publish. An unsaved guest project can remain only in that browser for up to seven days and is not uploaded as an account project without an explicit save.

Managed profiles for ages 5–12 cannot publish projects publicly. Leaderboards use coder aliases rather than real names.
