Learning from finished work

Seeing what another beginner built — and being able to open the code behind it — is often more motivating than a lesson brief. Remixing starts a learner from something that already works, which is a lower barrier than an empty page.

Published CodeIt projects are playable in the browser. A learner can open one for inspiration and remix a copy into their own version without changing the original.

CodeIt is built for ages 8 to 14. Only eligible independent accounts can publish; managed profiles for ages 5–12 cannot publish projects publicly.
